Our 3mm x 3mm Flexible Reinforcement Mesh is a soft, lightweight mesh designed for reinforcing detailed areas of microcement installations.
Unlike heavier reinforcement mesh, its soft and flexible construction makes it particularly easy to fold, wrap and conform around external corners, edges and other detailed areas where a stiffer mesh can be difficult to work with.
The fine 3mm x 3mm open weave allows the microcement base coat to pass through and fully encapsulate the mesh, creating a reinforced layer without adding unnecessary thickness.
It is particularly useful for external corners on benchtops, furniture, steps, niches, walls and other formed surfaces, helping strengthen vulnerable edges and reduce the risk of cracking.
Simply cut to size, position over the corner and embed completely into the microcement base coat before applying subsequent layers.
